Coin Purse by Ink-DreamsMMIX
Coin Purse
A coin purse I recently made using material rescued from the rubbish tip.  The leather came from a lounge that had been slashed but with enough pieces for small projects.  The press buttons were it's true from a trash and treasure market but they might well have been binned had I not bought the box for a buck.

Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year.
I've been working quite a lot recently on my self portrait and it's coming together nicely.  I have acquired a likely for impasto and have been using this manner of painting for the armour and metallic elements like the bridge plate and bridle.  I'll post a detail of the bridge plate thought it is a HDR photo, I really do hate them, so forgive the lack of definition.
I've also started doing some stone carving, soap stone that is. I've done a rhinoceros and an elephant but have yet to finish the elephant.  I'll post a group shot when I've done more.
That's about all really art wise I've been up to,  I look forward to sharing more with you all as I finish things,  as always you feedback is always appreciated.
