Firstly I hope all of you have made the transition to 2013 without any hick ups...
I'm currently rearranging my studio. This is so I have the space to set up my intaglio press and jewelers lathe, the latter of which I'm planing to make a clock of my own design possibly in the form of a carousel but I'm still in the planning stage so it could turn into anything but I do like the idea

.
What about my painting. I've taken a break from it so the impasto that I applied to the detail of the amour has a chance to dry thoroughly before I start glazing.
As for woodwork, I've been working on and off for around six months now on a relief carving of the Melbourne Centenary Florin coin which I'm carving into a piece of figured Kauri pine and it is proving rather troublesome but it's getting there very slowly though I do wish I hadn't decided to add the the text legend as well.
I've also been think about making a wire sculpture of Pegasus which I think is more than I can chew at the moment. I will say this, though my head is always full of ideas but I lack mental discipline to prioritize... I do get there in the end

.
It's going to be slow going for a while but I'll have some refined pieces by mid year.
